Production and features

This olive type is spreading in Andalucia, the main producing region worldwide, and in particular the provinces of Jaen, Cordoba and Granada.

The tree is very leafy, broad and its branches densely populated. The leaf is medium, short and narrow in size. The blade is green in the upperside, while the underside is greyish green.

It is a type of tree that adapts to several climatic and soil conditions and is tolerant to frost, but not very resistant to drought and limestone soils.

The fruit is black on ripening, medium sized, eliptical shaped and asymmetric.
