Production and features

This variety of  olive originates in the provinces of Lleida and Tarragona in Catalonia. Can also be found in southern and eastern Spain too.

The tree is small in size, reduced vigor with long shoots, little branched. It adapts perfectly to intensive farming methods. The wood is dark green and the silhouette reminds us of a broom.

Its leaves are green, ocher in the upperside, yellow and gray-green on the underside. This tree is typical of Andalucia, the main producing region worldwide, and in particular the provinces of Jaén, Córdoba and Granada.
